Jamie’s List 66: Travel Notes, Extreme Cashmere & Everything I Wore in St. Moritz

It’s been a couple of weeks since you’ve heard from me, and every time we meet again it somehow feels like a new month.
So — hello, March. And hi, to you all, again.
I’m writing this from the plane on my way home from the most amazing week in the mountains celebrating our anniversary and properly indulging in the downtime. A much needed vacation after a busy start to the year. Traveling always resets my eye and forces me to slow down. I’m coming home feeling inspired and thinking a lot about personal uniforms — the pieces I reach for when I want to feel most like myself. Long story short, my closet needs an overhaul.
On My List This Week
This was a great pre-trip purchase. So chic.

This top from Destree also came with me this week. I feel so feminine in this piece, I just love it. Keep reading to see how I styled it.
This, too, lived in my pocket all week long. For touch-ups on the slopes.1
Speaking of the slopes — this is the ski outfit I packed. And the best base layers, now on sale. Fit true to size.
Another incredible trouser that I wore all week. A must-buy.
Matching sets are still top of mind. I wasn’t fast enough the first time, but this one is finally back in stock.
I still in need an everyday black coat, and I think this is the winner.
As for some newness — Alicia Lund shared these shoes last week and I’ve been thinking about them ever since. Adding to cart.
My knitwear is desperate need of an refresh. I’m eyeing this.
This is something cozy & chic for the foot of the bed.

From My Notes
Currently obsessed with Konfekt Magazine. The ritual of sitting down with a physical magazine feels like a lost art, and I’d forgotten how much I love it. If you care about travel, food, and great wine you must—at the very least—subscribe to their newsletter. I spent an hour yesterday reading the current issue cover to cover.
I lived in these all week. Yes, they’re an investment, but they’re easily one of the best leather trousers I’ve ever tried on. I shared more about how I style these in my channel here.
Everything from Extreme Cashmere is top of mind — a brand to know, if you don’t already, for year-round wear. They have a tiny, but chic shop in Sankt Moritz where we did a little shopping. My husband got this sweater (such a great men’s piece, that comes in every color). They didn’t have what I wanted in-store, so I’m still eyeing this set (from my February Edit) along with some new arrivals: this new set, this, and this adorable new sweater.
My first stop back in NYC will be to see Dr. Marnie. I started doing some preventative Botox at the end of last year, and hate to admit that I love it. Oh, I simply can’t wait…

I spent the week in the mountains — first in Kitzbühel with family, and then in Sankt Moritz to celebrate our anniversary. It’s about time I put together a proper guide to one of my favorite places. Jamie’s Little Black Book, perhaps? I’m still deciding where my travel notes should live.
I’ve been avoiding admitting this, but this trip solidified that the pieces I pack are always my most worn. My true favorites. I almost feel most like myself when I’m traveling, because I’ve edited my wardrobe down to what I love most. The best t-shirt, the best-knit, my favorite denim….the list goes on. So, the lesson here is this: I need to apply the same closet-editing discipline that I share with my clients to my own wardrobe, once and for all!!
