Jamie's List 30: Early fall favorites, dreamy color palettes & lots of end-of-summer outfits
8/29/2024
I’m thinking of switching my weekly send to Sunday nights from Monday nights, with a paid subscriber post in the middle of the week, just to break it up and keep things more consistent. Let me know what you think. In the meantime, here’s a preview of what’s on my list this week:
Fall is on my mind and so is this top — in every color.
I just added this necklace to my everyday stack, and am obsessed.
Who remembers when shopping at J.Crew was “cool” in middle school? Well, they’re totally back and I’m obsessed with some of their New Arrivals. I spent an entire day styling some of my favorite pieces from J.Crew, which I’ll be sharing soon. In the meantime, take a browse here. (#injcrew #ad)
WHAT I’M SHOPPING:
The perfect oversized sweater: J.Crew Relaxed Crewneck Sweater
Is it too early to start dreaming of jackets? A.L.C. Faux Fur Jacket
My favorite tee from FRAME now comes in a long-sleeve version: Frame Long Sleeve Baby Tee (JAMIE15)
The perfect skirt for fall: Rue Sophie Le Marais Skirt
I love these so much — and this color!: Le Monde Beryl Luna Ballet Flat
Corduroy I can get behind: House of Dagmar Corduroy Trousers
A fun gown for an early fall wedding guest: Simkhai Serafina Gown
WHAT I’M WEARING
You know when you have a tried and true outfit formula that just feels right every time? This outfit is basically it for me: a pair of slouchy jeans and a comfy sweater or t-shirt. I’m loving all of these new pieces from J.Crew that I received recently and the price points are hard to beat.

I’m very much leaning into fall colors at this point and am trying to incorporate more browns/beiges into my wardrobe. Love these easy linen shorts styled with my new bag from Loro Piana that I found on Fashionphile (*gifted). I’ve had my eye on this bag for awhile and am in love with the Travertine color. If you don’t mind buying secondhand, definitely check out Fashionphile if you’ve been on the market for a new bag.

I’ve also been living in my Jenni Kayne pieces: a mix of classic summer styles, along with newer ones that speak to fall color palettes. These linen shorts are a newer piece and I’m hoping that they bring this crewneck back this fall/winter—it’s so cozy. The crewneck sweater from J.Crew (above) is the most similar that I have in my closet. I feel like this green color palette will dominate my fall wardrobe, and I’m not mad about it…
If you’re still on the market for cotton dresses, the Peninsula Dress is a great option. Code JG15 on all of your Jenni Kayne purchases…

I realized that I don’t really share men’s styling stuff, but should I?? Love this little denim his-and-hers moment. I am also obsessed with these woven flats that Margaux sent me. How am I just now discovering this brand?!
